Football squares template
A clean blank grid to print and pass around: empty squares, empty number boxes, a rules box and a prize table.
What the blank template gives you
Press Download blank template PDF and you get a landscape page with the grid on the left and a rules and prize box on the right. The number boxes along the top and side stay empty, so you can draw the numbers by hand from a hat when everyone is in the room.
Choose 100 squares for a full pool, 50 for a mid-size group or 25 for a small one. The page sizes itself to the grid, so squares are as large as the paper allows and names stay readable.
Fill it in on paper
- Print the sheet and pass it round. Each person writes their name in the squares they pay for.
- When the grid is full, draw ten slips marked 0 to 9 for the top and ten for the side, and write the digits in the boxes.
- After each quarter, match the last digit of each score to the row and column.
Or fill it in here
Type the names in above and draw the numbers with a verifiable code. The same board can then be printed with everything filled in, or shared as a read-only link.

Questions
What paper sizes are supported?
US Letter and A4, both landscape. Pick the paper above the PDF button.
Can I leave the numbers blank?
Yes. Until you press “Draw random numbers” the number boxes print empty, ready to fill in by hand.
Does the template have a watermark?
The free PDF has one small line at the bottom, “Made free at Football Squares”. The Fundraiser Board removes it.
Can I make a 25 or 50 square sheet?
Yes. Choose the size under “1. Board”. Smaller boards get larger squares and two digits per row or column.
Is the generator free?
Yes. Boards of 100, 50 or 25 squares, random numbers, winners, the payout calculator, share links, printing and a black and white PDF are free. Free PDFs carry one small “Made free at Football Squares” line. The Fundraiser Board ($4.99, one time) adds colour, your own title, the fundraiser box and a sign-up sheet.
